So after posting Mom's pepper jelly I got curious about what -was- in that box of stuff my Dad gave me. Found some goodies. Including a jell-o dessert that uses the mold that Tupperware actually still makes (I know because I bought one from my friend, it was just too retro to pass up). This recipe has been handed down in my family since the early 1930's and perhaps from before as my grandparents were married just after the first world war and my grandmother brought along great grandmother's recipe box to her new home. Some of the recipes are clearly Irish, this one though might be American...Or, then again, maybe not ( Read more... )
